Privacy Policy

Shipello ("we", "us") is a mobile application that lets customers track orders and shipments from participating online stores. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Email address — used to sign you in (via a one-time code) and to locate the orders associated with your purchases.
• Order information — order contents, totals, shipping address and delivery status of purchases you made at participating stores. This data already exists in the store systems; the app displays it to you.
• Device push token — if you allow notifications, we store an anonymous device token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) to send you order updates.

We do not collect passwords, payment card numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

How we use information

• Show you your orders and real-time shipment tracking.
• Send transactional notifications (order confirmed, shipped, delivered) and — only with reasonable frequency — occasional offers from stores you have bought from. You can turn any category off in Settings.
• Provide customer support chat.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with service providers strictly needed to run the app: Google Firebase (push notification delivery) and our email provider (sign-in codes). Each processes data on our behalf under their own safeguards.

Data retention & deletion

Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Device tokens are removed when you sign out or delete the app account. You can delete your Shipello account at any time in Settings → Delete account — this removes your app account, sign-in tokens and device tokens immediately. Order records belong to the store you purchased from and are governed by that store's own policy.

Security

All traffic uses TLS encryption. Sign-in uses one-time codes instead of passwords, and access tokens are scoped per device and revocable.

Children

Shipello is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app.
